Tactile Tuftsis a collection of punch needleprototypes of designs that I created for larger scaletufted rugs and upholstery fabrics. Using varioustypes of yarns and pile heights, I made multileveledtextured surfaces that are meant to be felt. I alsoused color palettes that are designed to triggerspecific behaviors and emotions for their individualsettings. This project started my research into usingcolor psychology and sensory-friendly materials.
