Jacquard Weaving - 6”W x 36”L

Materials - Warp: 100% Cotton Thread
Weft: 6 Colors of Cotton Yarn
2 Colors of Merino Wool Yarn

This weaving was an experiment using three layers of weave structures and yarns with different shrinkage rates to control the way that the front surface texture forms dimensionally. I created all of my own weave structures, shaping it to follow my mental visualization of the surfaces.
